The session of the working group of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia, co-chaired by the deputy prime ministers of the countries, is underway in Moscow. Andrey Matveev, press secretary of the Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk, told TASS about this on Friday.
“In Moscow, according to the instructions of the heads of state, the trilateral working group under the joint chairmanship of the Deputy Prime Ministers of Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Russia Shahin Mustafaev, Mher Grigoryan and Alexey Overchuk has started its work,” said Matveev.
Earlier, Overchuk told journalists that the issues to be discussed during the meeting “refer to the technical issues of crossing the border between Azerbaijan and Armenia.”
On January 11, 2021, Russian President Vladimir Putin, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan agreed to create a working group at the level of the three countries’ deputy prime ministers, which will focus on establishing transport and economic ties in the region.
