Charles Michel, President of EU Council, referred to the meeting in Moldova between him, Armenian, Azerbaijani leaders, President of France, and German Chancellor.
"We just had a very good meeting together with President Aliyev and Prime Minister Pashinyan -- and with the President of France Emmanuel Macron and the Chancellor of Germany Olaf Scholz.
We had the occasion to address all the topics that we had discussed in Brussels in May, we had the occasion to discuss connectivity, the security and rights, the border, the border delimitation, the peace treaty. And this meeting has been a very good preparation for the next meeting that will take place in Brussels, on the 21st of July. It means that we are working hard and we intend to support all the positive efforts in the direction of the normalisation of the relationships.
"And I`ve also announced that I intend to invite again President Aliyev, Prime Minister Pashinyan, Chancellor Scholz and President Macron in the margins of the next meeting of the European Political Community that will take place in Spain.
"It means that we will do everything on the EU side, in order to help, in order to provide assistance, in order to make possible more progress in the direction of the normalisation of the relationship", said Michel in an interview with the reporters after the meeting.
