The Chief of Staff of the President of Ukraine, Mykhailo Podolyak, responded to the statement of the Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia, Mikhail Galuzin, that in order to achieve peace, Kyiv should abandon the idea of joining NATO and the European Union and return to neutral non-aligned status.
In response, Podolyak presented Kyiv's resolution - immediate withdrawal of Russian troops from the sovereign territory of Ukraine, extradition of war criminals and authors of war, creation of a buffer zone on the territory of Russia with the reduction of offensive weapons, control of Russia's nuclear arsenal, compensation for the damage caused to Ukraine.
“Moscow should also accept that the USSR has collapsed and post-Soviet countries have the right to sovereignty,” Podolyak added.
