The reactions we've seen from some of your MPs and members of government after the unilateral decision by Russia to restore the flights are a concern for us, - NATO Secretary General’s Special Representative for the Caucasus and Central Asia Javier Colomina told reporters.
According to him, he conveyed a message to the Georgian authorities that although partners understand that it was a unilateral decision by Moscow, but the reaction from Georgia should be supportive of Ukraine as much as possible.
“I also conveyed the message with regard to support for Ukraine, it is for us at most priority since Russia’s war against Ukraine started on February 24, 2022, and it is the biggest priority and first priority for the Vilnius Summit that will take place on 11-12 of July and we expect from our partners, particularly from the ones that are vulnerable as Georgia to do its utmost in supporting Ukraine”, Colomina stated at a news conference.
