The head of the Wagner PMC Yevgeny Prigozhin on Thursday claimed that his troops had started transferring their positions in the seized Bakhmut to the Russian military.
"We are withdrawing units from Bakhmut, it is now 5 am on May 25th. Until June 1, the main part will be relocated to the rear camps. We transfer the positions to the military: ammunition, positions, including packed lunches", Prigozhin said.
Last Saturday Yevgeny Prigozhin claimed full control of Bakhmut, the east Ukrainian town where fighting has raged for eight months.To his words, they had managed to seize the city despite the arms shortage.
