In the framework of Europe Day celebrations in Kapan, EU Ambassador to Armenia Andrea Wiktorin and Ambassadors and representatives of diplomatic missions of European countries participating in Europe Day celebration, visited the future building of Kapan Tumo Centre on May 18th, EU delegetion to Armenia reports. They observed workshops, which have already started in the nearby Tumo boxes.
The European Union co-finances the construction of the Tumo Centre in Kapan through “Mayors for Economic Growth” (M4EG) facility. The project is a part of the Resilient Syunik Team Europe Initiative, which is the joint undertaking of the European Union, the European Investment Bank, EU Member states - Austria, Czechia, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Poland, Sweden and Switzerland as an external partner. The initiative aims to contribute to the sustainable socioeconomic development of the Syunik region.
