OSCE Parliamentary Assembly President Margareta Cederfelt and Roberto Montella were received by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev in Baku, discussing the role of the OSCE and the PA in promoting security, dialogue and cooperation, as well as supporting the ongoing peace process in the South Caucasus, the OSCE PA twitted.
Aliyev reported on the progress of negotiations and recent meetings with Armenian representatives in Washington and Brussels, on upcoming meetings and the future peace treaty. The parties also discussed the prospects of opening transport communications in the region. Aliyev noted that Azerbaijan is ready to sign a peace treaty.
