The Russian State Duma unanimously decided on the need to ban the passage of Polish trucks through the territory of the Russian Federation, as well as depriving them of the opportunity to refuel at Russian prices, setting the cost of fuel for them at the level of EU prices.
Viacheslav Volodin, the Duma speaker, stated that the leadership of Poland should be responsible for the demolition of monuments to Soviet soldiers and Russophobic policies.
"Let them now look into the eyes of those tens of thousands of motorists who will lose their jobs, and there are more than 20 thousand of them. These are those who arrive in trucks with goods on the territory of the Russian Federation, refuel here cheaply, and leave the country. This is about 2 thousand companies, which, as a result of the policy of the criminal regime that has entrenched itself in Poland, are now going bankrupt," Volodin said.
To Volodin's words, Poland's budget losses as a result of the decision will amount to 8.5 billion euros.
