Moscow does not see the positive results of Western mediation in the Armenian-Azerbaijani process, there is only a frantic desire to interrupt the agenda and attribute Russia's achievements to themselves. Maria Zakharova, Russian Foreign Ministry’s Spokesperson, announced this during a briefing.
“For now, we see some malice turning into jealousy. The West does not mention the fundamental documents of the settlement, because they were developed and started to be implemented and give results with the mediation of Moscow. Brussels and Washington do not want to give up the ‘championship laurels’ to anyone, Zakharova said.
“That makes the whole mediation of the West destructive. There is no constructiveness and real results of their efforts. That is why they do not want to mention the developments in Moscow.
The Russian side appreciates the steps that bring results. But in the case of the West, there is still nothing to evaluate,” said the diplomat.
