Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's office said that it did not ask to give the President a chance to make a speech at Eurovision. Such a statement was made by Sergey Nikiforov.
The Times newspaper reported earlier that the BBC, the British Broadcasting Corporation, and the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) refused to give the President of Ukraine the opportunity to make a video message in the final of the competition.
