More than 1.6 million Turkish citizens have voted in presidential and parliamentary elections organized abroad, according to the Turkish Supreme Election Council, TASS reports.
Voting has been completed in the US, Canada and many European countries. Ballots from these countries were delivered to Turkey. In total, 1,666,824 people used their right to vote in the elections.
Turkish citizens living abroad will be able to vote in the elections until May 14 at the border crossings.
Voters are given two ballots - with presidential candidates and a list of parties.
