The Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan referred to the process of normalization of Yerevan-Baku relations. According to the Azerbaijani media, Jeyhun Bayramov noted that despite the certain dynamics of bilateral contacts, the progress registered in various fields, particularly regarding the draft of a possible peace treaty, still does not meet the expectations of the Azerbaijani side.
Bayramov called on the Armenian side to make more active efforts in the process of normalization of relations between the two countries.
“We believe that the best way to regulate the relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan is to recognize the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the countries," said the Azerbaijani diplomat, adding that Baku's position on this issue is "clear, principled and consistent.”
