At the start of the briefing held in Ankara, Armenia’s Parliament Speaker Alen Simonyan expressed his condolences in connection with the February earthquake.
“We know very well what an earthquake is, and it was no coincidence that we were one of the first to respond and sent two groups that crossed the Armenian-Turkish border and arrived in Turkey. And the purpose of my coming here is also aimed to demonstrate the will of the Republic of Armenia to build neighborly relations with its neighbors.
I think we should not miss this historic opportunity,” he said.
