Lilit Minasyan, member of the Parliament’s ‘Civil Contract’ faction, asked Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan about the Russian proposals regarding the peace treaty to be signed with Azerbaijan.
“Our opposition regularly emphasizes that when Armenia agreed to both Russian and Western proposals, it thereby rejected the Russian proposals, as they contradict each other in content,” the MP said, asking the Prime Minister to clarify this opinion.
Nikol Pashinyan clarified that no proposals were received from the West, Russia presented proposals, which Armenia accepted. The Prime Minister noted that these proposals were also discussed publicly. According to the Prime Minister, since there were no Western proposals, there can be no contradictions with the Russian proposals either.
