Five people were were killed in a shooting at a home in Cleveland, Texas, ABC News reported on Saturday (April 29), citing local police, Reuters reports.
The shooting took place late Friday and police were still looking for the suspect, the report added.
San Jacinto County Sheriff Greg Capers said police were called to the scene late on Friday (April 28), responding to a harassment complaint. However, when authorities arrived, they found several shooting victims on the property.
Capers said the suspect was a Mexican man who is still on the loose. Police believe he remains within 10 to 12 miles (16.09 to19.31 kilometers) of the shooting.
The youngest victim was eight years old and was pronounced dead at the hospital, Capers said.
