The Azerbaijani satellite "Azersky" has failed after colliding with space debris or a small meteorite, the country's space agency "Azerkosmos" announced on April 20. The attempts of "Azerkosmos" to restore communication with the satellite failed, the report says.
As for the lost "Azersky" satellite, it was manufactured and transferred to Azerbaijan by the French company Airbus Defense and Space. In 2020, various companies in 30 countries of the world used the services of Azerbaijani satellites. At the same time, the main users of services are companies from the USA, Great Britain, France, Germany and Malaysia.
