Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Derek Hogan, Acting Assistant US Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs, held a phone conversation on Monday to discuss various issues of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the United States, as well as the current situation in the region, including the peace agenda between Yerevan and Baku.
Hogan acknowledged the importance of successfully completing the normalization process between Azerbaijan and Armenia through negotiations, and establishing lasting peace and security in the region. He reiterated that the United States is ready to support the peace process.
The conversation also included discussions on other matters of mutual interest.
