Arif Yunus, an Azerbaijani conflict analyst living in the Netherlands, has published interesting details about another failure of Azerbaijan in Holland on his Facebook page.
According to him, on April 13, Aliyev's special envoy, special assistant to the first vice president, Elchin Amirbayov, arrived in that country to meet with parliamentarians.
On April 4, before that meeting, Arif Yunus met with the members of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Dutch Parliament, including the head and the leaders of the main parties, and handed them a petition and a large number of documentary facts about the massive violations of the rights of Muslim believers in Azerbaijan.
It is possible that the parliamentarians were going to raise the issues of human rights, including the recent mass arrests of believers, during that meeting. According to Yunus, the Embassy of Azerbaijan was also aware of this. And today information appeared on the website of the parliament that the meeting will not take place.
