On April 13, Armenian Ambassador to Canada Anahit Harutyunyan had a meeting with the newly elected mayor of Ottawa, Mark Sutcliffe.
The interlocutors discussed the possibilities of interaction between the embassy and the municipality on a number of issues, as well as cooperation between Yerevan and Ottawa.
The contribution of the Canadian-Armenian brothers Yousuf and Malak Karsh to the cultural development and international recognition of the capital city of Ottawa was highlighted on both sides.
