It is great that the parties agree on the most complex issues, Russian Foreign Ministry’s Spokesperson Maria Zakharova stated.
“I have spoken about our support, which should be directed not only by individual representatives of political movements, but also by those representatives of the executive power who are responsible in this issue. I may or may not accept those assessments, as many people have opinions,” she said.
Russia is “satisfied” that Armenia maintains interest over accepting peacekeepers of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), Russian foreign ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said at a press briefing on April 12, citing FM Lavrov’s statement.
“I can also add that as soon as Yerevan is ready, we can return to the substantive issues on the deployment of a CSTO mission in Armenia, regarding concrete details,” Zakharova said.
