The annual trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan can reach $1 billion, said President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev while delivering a speech at the joint press conference with the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on April 10, press service of the Presidential Administration of Kazakhstan.
According to him, trade turnover between the two countries increased by 40% and already reached USD 500 mln.
"I am sure that after our economic potential is fully revealed, we will be able to increase this number to 1 billion dollars. For this, we have serious resources in energy, transport, logistics, information technologies, agriculture, industry and other fields", Kasim-Jomart Tokayev noted.
