Georgian prime minister Irakli Garibashvili claimed all sectors in the country, including tourism, trade, construction, production and exports - having had “serious progress”, noting “all these [progress] need to be maintained”, Front News Georgia reports.
“Nothing will happen if we do not have peace and stability in the country”, he said, claiming more than 20 percent of Ukraine had been turned into a “training ground” on the background of the country’s ongoing conflict with Russia, adding “no one is able to stop it”.
"At the beginning, I already mentioned that the situation in the world is very difficult. After the end of the Second World War in Europe, there has not been such a challenge. What is happening in Ukraine, you can see that the war does not just stop, and a large part of the territory of Ukraine, more than 20 percemt, has already turned into a training ground and the annihilating war is going on. Cities, villages, regions are flattening to the ground and there is no one to stop it”, Garibashvili said.
“Therefore, the plan that existed against us, the plan of Ukrainization and the plan of turning Georgia into a second training ground, of course, failed once again for our enemies," he added.
