On April 1, the delegation led by Björn Söder, head of the Sweden-Armenia friendship group of the Swedish Parliament, accompanied by MP Lilit Minasyan, a member of the Armenia-Sweden friendship group, visited the Tsitsernakaberd Armenian Genocide memorial complex.
The guests laid flowers at the eternal flame eternalizing the memory of the Armenian Genocide victims, honored the memory of the holy martyrs with a minute of silence.
The members of the friendship group also visited the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, got acquainted with the documents about the Genocide, viewed the exhibits.
"We should always remember and never forget. Educating the younger generation, we must always remember what happened in the past to prevent genocides in the future”, Björn Söder, head of the Sweden-Armenia friendship group, wrote in the memorial book of honored guests.
Anri Karapet, a member of the Swedish Parliament of Armenian origin, is also part of the delegation, who also made a note in the memorial book. "We will never forget, we must always remember and demand."
