China's ambassador to the European Union, Fu Cong, did not rule out that Chinese President Xi Jinping and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky could meet or have a telephone conversation in the near future.
He added that high-ranking Chinese officials are in contact with Ukrainian counterparts. No other details were reported.
Earlier, Volodymyr Zelensky informed that Beijing was informed about the readiness of the Ukrainian side to meet with Xi Jinping.
