Moscow is making progress in negotiations on concluding a full free trade agreement between Iran and the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU). The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia informed about it, expressing hope that it will be possible to achieve the desired result quickly.
In January of this year, Iran and the Eurasian Economic Union signed a memorandum on free trade.
The Russian Foreign Ministry also informed that tomorrow, March 29, talks between the foreign ministers of Russia and Iran will take place in Moscow. It is planned to discuss a wide range of international, regional and bilateral issues.
According to the report, Lavrov and Abdollahian will pay special attention to the situation surrounding the nuclear deal and Syria.
Other issues will also be addressed, including the situation in the South Caucasus.
