Armenia is making active efforts to send UN and OSCE fact-finding missions to Lachin Corridor and Nagorno-Karabakh, as well as involving international organizations and developing humanitarian activities in Nagorno-Karabakh. Armenia’s Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan announced this today at the NA Standing Committee on Foreign Relations session.
“Currently, only the Russian peacekeeping forces and the ICRC are carrying out humanitarian work in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh). Other organizations contributed to the humanitarian support, mediated through the Red Cross,” said Mirzoyan.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs also informed that the work was continued in the direction of preserving the co-chairmanship mandate with the OSCE Chairmanship and OSCE Minsk Group Chairman countries and using the accumulated experience of the latter.
