Ambassador-at-Large of Armenia Edmon Marukyan on his Twitter referred to the statement of John Kirby, Strategic Communication Coordinator of the National Security Council of the White House, in which the latter stated that the US calls on Armenia and Azerbaijan to ease tensions.
“After the State Department’s statement, Azerbaijani forces shot and killed an Armenian soldier in the sovereign territory of Armenia. The practice of putting a mark of equality between the aggressor and the victim of that aggression is unacceptable and encourages the aggressor,” Marukyan stated.
