The issue of the return of refugees from Armenia and Azerbaijan to their former places of residence is quite sensitive and should be considered within the framework of the dialogue between the parties, in the context of the reconciliation of the two peoples.
The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, stated this, adding that the basis of the Armenian-Azerbaijani relations settlement process is the trilateral statement, which also includes a humanitarian component.
“Today's main problem is the consistent implementation of these agreements by Yerevan and Baku,” Zakharova noted.
