Michael Roth, Chairman of the foreign relations committee of the German Bundestag, accused Azerbaijan of encircling Nagorno-Karabakh, adding that Baku has started to act more aggressively in the region.
“The European Union should review its policy in the region. It should fill the vacuum created by Russia's weakness. Democracy and freedom and security are two sides of the same coin. The EU and its member states must do more to achieve both of these goals,” Roth wrote on his Twitter.
