The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, while addressing the question of Moscow's position on the possibility of sending an international mission to Nagorno-Karabakh, reminded that there is currently a Russian peacekeeping mission in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh).
“Our peacekeepers make consistent efforts to ensure stability and security in the region and prevent escalation. Much, of course, depends on the political will and real attitude of the parties. It is important that they steadily implement the provisions of the trilateral statements. As for the new mission - the agreement of both Yerevan and Baku is necessary for its deployment. We have not yet seen an agreement between the two sides on this issue."
