During the Parliament-Government question-and-answer session, MP of the ‘Civil Contract’ faction, Arusyak Julhakyan, asked Armenia’s Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan a question about the deployment of the EU civilian monitoring mission in Armenia and the comments related to it.
“The mission is civilian, and I want to emphasize the second important fact that for us, Armenia, this mission is another important tool that should be used for the general peace process. I am aware that there are comments that the Armenian side, hiding behind the EU mission, does provocations, etc. But the Armenian side does not do provocations at all, and secondly, again, the EU mission is only a tool for the Armenian side, for Armenia, which should bring additional benefit, additionally strengthen the peace process, stability in the region, as well as carry out objective reality assessment and transfer to EU partners,” said Ararat Mirzoyan.
