Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan sent a congratulatory message to the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Sayyid Ebrahim Raisi on the Iranian New Year, Nowruz, Presidential press office reports.
The message particularly says:
“My warmest congratulations to you on this beautiful holiday of nature’s awakening – Nowruz. May the new year be filled with success and sustainable peace for the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Our bilateral friendly relations, based on centuries-old history and mutual respect, are of great importance to the Republic of Armenia.
I am sure that with joint efforts, we will manage to deepen and raise Armenian-Iranian multi-sectoral relations to a new level for the benefit of our peoples.”

On the occasion of Nowruz, President Vahagn Khachaturyan also sent a congratulatory message to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Sayyid Ali Khamenei.
The message particularly says:
“May the new year be a year of peace and new achievements for the neighbouring Islamic Republic of Iran.
Armenia attaches great importance to historical and cultural close ties and centuries-old warm relations with Iran, based on mutual respect and solidarity.
I am hopeful that by using the existing big potential for cooperation and joining our efforts in this new year, we will mark new guidelines in Armenian-Iranian friendly relations for the welfare of Armenian and Iranian peoples.”
