The foreign ministers also consulted and exchanged opinions regarding holding a four-way meeting (Iran, Russia, Turkey and Syria) in order to solve the problems between Syria and Turkey.
The latest developments in the Ukraine were among the other topics discussed by the two foreign ministers, during which the Iranian foreign minister emphasized the principled view of the Islamic Republic in the field of focusing on political solution and dialogue.
Developments related to the technical cooperation between Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency were another focus of the discussion and exchange of views between Amirabdollahian and Lavrov in this telephone conversation.
