The Ukrainian government approved Ukraine’s withdrawal from the agreement with Russia on border control, the government representative to the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnichuk said Tuesday.
"The bill ‘On cessation of the agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the Russian Federation on cooperation in joint control of people, vehicles and goods on the Ukrainian-Russian state border’ has been approved," Melnichuk said on his Telegram channel.
Ukrainian authorities regularly announce withdrawal from agreements, signed with Russia, Belarus and within the CIS.
