“Security steps are ensured in (Metsamor) nuclear power plant in Armenia. Previously, there were some discussions about ensuring security here”, IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi said, APA reports.
“There is an IAEA mission there and we are in contact with our Armenian partners for ensuring security measures”, he noted.
“I think that all efforts for maintenance of international peace and stability. I believe that Non-Alignment movement and other platforms should also promote it,” Grossi said. “We work with both Armenia and Azerbaijan. We cooperate for promoting stability, which is important. Keeping the channels of diplomacy open in difficult times is very important”, he concluded.
