Armenian Parliament’s ‘Civil Cantract’ faction deputy Emma Palyan asked Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan whether there was a response to our proposals for a peace treaty by Azerbaijan or the OSCE Minsk Group co-chair countries.
Nikol Pashinyan noted that there is no response as such yet.
“When we receive a similar document, it takes a certain amount of time to form a reaction, and I assume that after a certain time there will be some reaction, but I also want to say that during this time there were three rounds of work on the peace treaty. They proposed, we responded, and so 3 times, and we must continue the work in that direction.
In addition, I want to emphasize that regardless of tête-à-tête meetings, these works are also carried out, that is, document works are carried out, and these works do not always require a tête-à-tête meeting. We passed to the Azerbaijani side a draft regulation of the work of border demarcation commissions, for example, and we are also waiting for its response. And the proposals that we have made in the past, regarding the opening of communications, regarding the provision of border security, all these proposals remain in force,” said the Prime Minister.
