Rescue efforts where a coal mine collapsed in northern China's Inner Mongolia have resumed, after a second landslide halted the search for survivors, China's state broadcaster CCTV reported on Friday (February 24), Reuters reports.
Footage on CCTV showed heavy machinery and rescue dogs being used in the search for the 47 miners still missing.
The death toll from the dramatic collapse on Wednesday (February 22) has risen to at least six people; six more people are injured.
Inner Mongolia is one of China’s top coal-producing regions.
