Ukraine is now working hard to prepare and supply a future counteroffensive. This was stated by Defense Minister Alexei Reznikov on the anniversary of Russia’s full-scale military operation, Perild reports.
The head of the Ministry of Defense thanked the Ukrainian Defense Forces, saying that they had done the impossible.
“You repulsed the army of the enemy, which terrified the whole world. But it turned out to be powerless against the Ukrainians, who are defending their home and their loved ones, fighting for their land,” he wrote on his Facebook page.
Reznikov emphasized that “now we are entering a new period. With a new task – to win.” Noting that by victory he means the liberation of all territories to the borders of 1991 and the elimination of the danger from the Russian Federation.
“Victory – when Ukraine will be. It will be sovereign and independent within internationally recognized borders. Successful, rich, strong. But there will be no Russia in its current form,” the defense minister stressed.
The minister said that Ukraine is waiting for more weapons, including Ukrainian ones, tanks and armored vehicles, there will be new training programs for defenders and defenders with the participation of partners, there will be a new quality of defense due to technology.
“There will be our counteroffensive. We are working hard to prepare and supply it. In a few days, Ukraine will meet the spring that the Kremlin wanted to steal from us. We are not cold – we have hardened. We are not afraid of the darkness. Step by step we will come to victory,” stressed the head of the Ministry of Defense.
