Georgian delegation led by Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili left for Turkey, Georgia’s Public Broadcaster reports.
Irakli Gharibashvili and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will hold a face-to-face meeting during the visit.
The head of the government will arrive in the city of Antakya in the Hatay province affected by the earthquake, where the rescue teams of Georgian MIA, together with the rescue services of different countries, are conducting rescue efforts.
The Georgian delegation includes Minister of Internal Affairs Vakhtang Gomelauri, Head of the State Security Service Grigol Liluashvili, Head of Government Administration Revaz Javelidze and Head of Emergency Management Service of MIA Teimuraz Mghebrishvili.
