In order to prevent the ethnic cleansing of the Armenians of Nagorno-Karabakh, we attach more importance to the international community's continuous attention to this issue and objective actions.
Armenia’s Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said this during a press conference with Luxembourg's Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Jean Asselborn.
“We consider the sending of the international fact-finding mission to the Nagorno-Karabakh and Lachin Corridor to assess the humanitarian situation as one of the important steps in this direction.
The unhindered access of international humanitarian organizations, including UN specialized bodies, to Nagorno-Karabakh is also important,” said Ararat Mirzoyan.
Summarizing, Armenia’s Foreign Minister said that Armenia highly appreciates the principled and clear position of friendly Luxembourg on matters of vital importance for Armenia, including the occupation of the sovereign territory of Armenia, the humanitarian crisis currently created around Nagorno-Karabakh, as well as the immediate release of Armenian prisoners of war.
