The International Court of Justice unanimously rejected Azerbaijan's request to apply temporary measures against Armenia.
Azerbaijan demanded to apply intermediate measures and to oblige Armenia to “end the laying of mines and the transportation of mines through the Lachin Corridor.”
The court noted that Azerbaijan did not provide evidence that Armenia took steps that impede the right of Azerbaijanis to stay in permanent residence.
Earlier, we reported that the International Court of Justice, by its decision, obliged Azerbaijan to ensure the uninterrupted movement of transport and people through the Lachin Corridor in both directions.
