The results of US President Joe Biden's visit to Kyiv will soon be visible on the battlefield, where the armed forces of Ukraine oppose the Russian army. The president of the republic, Volodymyr Zelensky announced this, as quoted by RBC-Ukraine.
Zelensky called the negotiations with Biden decisive in the conflict with Russia and promised that this meeting would lead to "historic achievements" for Ukraine.
Speaking in Kyiv, the US President announced that a new package of military aid worth $500 million will be provided to Ukraine, which will include artillery ammunition, anti-aircraft defenses, anti-tank systems and other weapons.
Moscow hopes that the US President will push Ukrainian President Zelensky to start peace talks with Russia. Svetlana Zhurova, first deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, responded to the American leader's visit to Kyiv with such an opinion.
