The number of victims of earthquakes in Turkey has exceeded 38,044, in Syria - 9,000, the total number exceeds 47,000, TASS reports.
The Turkish Government's emergency department says that casualties from the earthquakes were reported in Kahramanmaras, Osmaniye, Hatay, Kilis, Gaziantep, Diyarbakır, Şanlıurfa, Adana, Adıyaman, Malatya and Elazig.
On Friday night in the south of Turkey, in the province of Hatay, another earthquake happened, this time with a magnitude of 5.1.
According to the agency, more than 4,700 double aftershocks were recorded in the region after the first earthquake.
