Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan held a meeting with Russian Ambassador to Armenia Sergei Kopyrkin.
Deputy PM Khachatryan valued the close cooperation with Russia and attached importance to the development of relations especially in economic directions, the Deputy PM’s office said in a read-out.
Ambassador Kopyrkin congratulated Khachatryan on his appointment as Deputy PM said expressed Russia’s readiness to cooperate in all sectors based on the 30 years of traditions of collegial relations.
The Deputy PM and the Ambassador discussed the current agenda of the Armenian-Russian allied relations, attached importance to the further development and expansion of the economic cooperation between the two countries, and the circle of issues related to Armenian-Russian trade-economic ties, including the growing volumes and structure of trade turnover.
