In the period between February 6-13, 747 calls were registered in the crisis management centers of the Central and regional departments of the Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) State Service of Emergency Situations, of which 14 were man-made and 25 were calls of a domestic nature.
Rescuers responded to all calls, opening 6 closed doors and 12 elevators.
The service urges all residents not to use the elevators during power outages to avoid unwanted accidents.
In the past week, one traffic incident was registered in the city of Martuni. One citizen was injured. After receiving first aid on the spot, the latter was transferred to a medical facility. The rescuers cut off the power to the car and closed the valve of the gas cylinder.
Within seven days, the fire rescuers of the service made 5 exits, one citizen was injured.
On the night of February 11, a fire broke out in the central office of the ARF in Artsakh. According to preliminary data, the guard, M.K., a 50-year-old resident of Stepanakert city, was taken to the republican medical center with burns.
Firefighters responded to all other calls in a timely manner and took appropriate preventive actions.
In order to prevent threats to life, the mining teams of the rescue forces department, along with the miners of the "Humanitarian Demining Center" foundation and The Halo Trust organization, continue the exploration and destruction of the ammunition found in the territory of the republic. 6 exits were made in the past week. Around 94 units of ammunition of different types and calibers were found.
