Minister of Finance of Armenia Vahe Hovhannisyan met today with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Armenia Fukushima Masanori.
Minister Hovhanisyan, welcoming the Ambassador, noted that Armenia has plans for cooperation with the finance ministries of a number of countries in a bilateral format and emphasized that it would be quite useful to consider the possibility of such cooperation with the Japanese side as well.
Ambassador Fukushima Masanori, expressing his gratitude for the reception, congratulated Vahe Hovhannisyan on his appointment as the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Armenia and wished him fruitful work.
During the meeting, the interlocutors also discussed future directions of cooperation and other issues of mutual interest.
