Aleppo Governor Hussein Diab received Armenian Ambassador to Syria Tigran Gevorgyan.
Aleppo Governor hailed Armenia’s government and people’s position and support to the Syrians in their great disaster caused by the earthquake that hit a number of Syrian governorates. He noted that the humanitarian aid that Armenia is providing comes in the context of the deep relations and ties that unite the Syrian and Armenian people.
For his part, Ambassador Gevorgyan explained that Armenians stand with the Syrian people, lending a helping hand, providing assistance and supporting the rescue and relief operations.
A plane carrying relief aids will arrive today to contribute to humanitarian efforts in the province.
