In 2022, 1 million 670 thousand tourists visited Armenia. Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan announced this during the Parliament-Government question-and-answer session.
“In November and December, we have already exceeded the indexes of 2019," said Kerobyan.
The indexes for January are already known.
“159 thousand tourists visited Armenia in January. It is approximately 30 percent more than the figure of 2019,” said Kerobyan.
This year, according to Kerobyan, the Government allocated AMD 1 billion (over $2.5 million) for the promotion of tourism.
