Armenia’s Parliament Deputy Speaker Hakob Arshakyan made a post on his Facebook page, referring to the fact of sending rescue squads to Turkey and Syria.
According to him, some political forces are trying to influence the public's emotions, using the circumstance of our assistance to the people who were left under the rubble in Turkey.
“Leaving aside the humanitarian side of the issue, which in itself justifies the Government's decision, I also consider it important to note that in the case of many conflicts, conflicts and wars in the world, the parties try to find edges of dialogue, manage conflicts.
Turkey is our neighboring country, if we do not manage our problems, others will manage them based on their own interests. In order to manage these problems, it is also necessary to change the mutual attitude of the peoples of the two countries.
This humanitarian step is very important not only in terms of the attitude of the Turkish society, but also of the international community, this is a guide to a dignified conversation between the two countries, where Armenia stands for its state interests," Arshakyan wrote.
