The Turkish armed forces have announced the creation of a special air corridor through which rescuers from other countries will be transported to the earthquake zone. A video was posted on the Twitter page of the Ministry of Defense of Turkey, which shows the movement of the Ministry of Emergency Situations plane to the disaster zone.
Earlier, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia announced that it is ready to send two Il-76 planes with rescuers to Turkey to help the local emergency services eliminate the consequences of the earthquake in Gaziantep province.
The head of the department, Alexander Kurenkov, said that the group of 100 rescuers is already ready for flight.
Israel, India, Kazakhstan and the USA have also taken the initiative to provide assistance to the Turkish side. Azerbaijan's Ministry of Emergency Situations has expressed readiness to send a group of 370 rescuers to Turkey.
